Mária Čorejová (1975) is a painter, graphic designer and cultural operator. She is a graduate of painting school of prof. Daniel Fischer at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. She is a Fulbright schollarships alumna (Art Institute of Boston, USA, 2002) and has completed several art residencies (Slippery Rock University of Pensylvania, USA, 1997; University of Houston-Clear Lake, USA, 1999; European Diploma in Cultural Project Management by Marcel Hicter Foundation, Brussels, Belgium, 2004; Strabag Kunstforum, Vienna, Austria, 2010; CIANT, Prague, Czech Republic, 2010).
She exhibits individually and collectively in Slovakia and abroad (for example: London, Vienna, Sheffield, Chicago, Prague, Warsaw, Porto, Venice, Zlín, Pilsen).
She is co-founder and former member of Burundi and 13 kubikov collectives (www.13m3.sk).
Alongside with free artistic creation she operates as free lanced graphic designer. She designed number of publications, e.g. exhibition KRV/BLOOD catalogue (2012); series of school books for publishing houses Orbis Pictus Istropolitana and MarDur, or exhibition +-XXI catalogue for Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. On regular basis she cooperates with European House of Poetry, Košice for which she prepared publications from the edition REW – J. Buzássy: Pláň/Plain, (2012); L. Novomeský: Dom, kde žijem/House I Live In, (2012); Cultural Parallels (2012); TOP 5 (2010 – 2013); I. Hostová: Medzi entropiou a víziou/Between Entropy and Vision, (2014); P. P. Korobčuk:Pôžitkológia, (2014); Magazine on Poetry and Poets Vertigo (since 2013) and with organizations Voices and Croatian Cultural Union of Slovakia, as well as Gallery 19 in Bratislava, for which she created visual identity for various exhibition projects (e.g.Yearbook 2015, Annual Catalogue 2009-2014, Ladislav Novák, 2012 or Art Brut in Slovakia, 2013. She is an author of visual identity of
The Platform of Volunteers Centres and organizations in Slovakia.
She is also a book illustrator (J. Buzássy: Pláň/Plain, EDPK, 2012,  J. Gavura: A Little Show of Pictures and Verses, Slniečkovo, 2014 or T.S.Eliot: Šibalova príručka šikovných mačiek/Old Possum`s Book of Practical Cats, Slniečkovo, 2014).
Her works were published in various magazines and publications (e.g. Glosolália, 4/2014) or ENTER magazine, 2013
In 2010 she was finalist of international art competition Strabag Artaward International, 2010.
She lives and works in Bratislava, Slovakia.
